Scholarship

African Health & Education (AHEF), a non-profit group, is seeking qualified applicants for its 2017 International Scholarship Program. We are proud to announce that six (6) $2000 International Non-Renewable Scholarships will be awarded for the 2017 academic year.

Besides the six (6) international scholarships, we are also offering four (4) Non-Renewable $1000 national scholarships to Northern California students. The scholarship program is open to all graduating high school seniors of any ethnic or cultural background with a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. One $1000 national scholarship will be reserved for children or dependents of AHEF members. Applicants who are not awarded an international scholarship will be considered for national scholarships.

Students from the scholarship program are expected to volunteer and provide public services to the community, assist with African Health & Education outreach and mentorship programs.

Applicants must meet ALL of the following eligibility requirements:
All full-time graduating high school seniors in good academic standing (minimum unweighted GPA 3.40 on 4-point scale), of any ethnic or cultural background, who plans to attend an accredited college or university (2-year and 4-year).
Applicants who are United States citizens or permanent residents of the United States are eligible to apply for the national $1000 scholarships.

Students residing in the following countries are eligible to apply for the 2017 AHEF international Scholarships:
– Nigeria
– Ghana
– Benin
– Ivory Coast

The application must be submitted online by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on February 15, 2017.
