Water for Schools

In commemorating Water Day 2019, African Health and Education Fund launching a new initiative called Water for Schools. Towards this effort, we are raising donor funds to supply public primary school in rural communities in Africa, with clean drinking water.

Our initial goal this quarter is to install five solar-powered water wells in selected rural public schools at a total cost of $35,000.00

Most public schools in Nigeria lack basic drinking water. As a result, students not only have to fetch water from a long distance source for the family before school but also bring water to school. Basic hands washing after toilet use or breaks are simply non-existence.

At the completion of this effort, recipient schools will have clean drinking water for use by students and faculties.

Your donations are welcome to support this grass root initiative and continued efforts by African Health and Education Funds. Please donate here.

Thank you for your continued support.
